As a bisexual man in a relationship with a woman, I recognize that I am not facing the same level of discrimination as others in our community, but I still understand the problems we face.
I want to use my art to advocate for those who may not have a voice. Together, we can work towards a more supportive and accepting world.
What the Trevor Project Does
The Trevor Project offers crisis intervention and suicide prevention services specifically for LGBTQ+ youth. With their 24/7 helpline and text and chat support, they create a safe space for young people to reach out when they need help the most.
Their Mission
Their mission is to build a world where all LGBTQ+ youth can thrive and feel accepted. This mission resonates deeply with me, as I believe that everyone deserves to be heard and supported.
Their Impact
Through their various programs and outreach efforts, the Trevor Project has saved countless lives and raised awareness about the mental health challenges many LGBTQ+ youth face. Having struggled with my own mental health, I know how crucial it is to have support and connection. I want to help reduce the stigma and foster a sense of acceptance for those who might feel alone.
